just wanted to see if anyone else out there has anything to say about the new CD. i've had it only two days, but i love it!
i know i should be giving the whole disc a fair shake, but i'm having trouble stopping myself from playing 1-3 and then clicking back and listening to them all over again. in time i'll get around to giving the whole thing it's fair share of time.
i've never seen paddy play (aside from the Balcony TV performance on youtube ) but the CD has me checking flights for Boston! 'walkout' has this whole foot stomping quality that makes me think a live show is the way to go... but for now i'll just settle for mini-concerts in my little Jetta...
well done on the whole disc, sir! -ceece

right on ceece! for me the album is one of those you can listen to straight through - they're all great and paddy has a real polished sound throughout the album. i love it. he's already got a bunch of new songs that we hear him play in boston but it's nice to be able to pop in one town tasted and hear the old favorites too. glad to see the album made its way to you - spread the word! |

Reply with quote | #3 | i agree about listening to it from start to finish. i was stuck on the interstate for well over an hour tonight - and for the first time in a long time - i actually enjoyed every minute.
i do think someone needs to talk paddy into heading west instead of east next time he tours! i've tried to no avail... but i can help but think that seeing him in person would give me a whole new appreciation for his music. |

The CD is FANTASTIC!! I have been listening to it in the car, at work and at home. Definitely one you can listen to straight through --though the first two songs are my favorites. Recorded or live, Paddy is amazing and sure to be a huge success. I know that soon enough I'll be saying I knew him when... |
